Find public water. See why it’s fishing well.
Wet That Line puts 51,000+ public fishing spots across the lower 48 states on one free map, with a conditions score for each spot that shows its reasoning. Tap any pin to try it.
Free means free
The map, every spot, all the government data and the conditions score are free, forever. We only charge for things that cost us money each time you use them, like AI photo analysis.
Scores with reasons
No black-box forecast. Every score lists what went into it: stream flow, barometric pressure, air and water temperature, wind, cloud cover and the solunar period.
No ads, no billing tricks
No ads anywhere. No auto-renewing trials, a warning before any renewal, and cancelling takes one tap.
Public data, given back
Most spots are government data: official access sites, boat ramps and stocked waters from state fish and wildlife agencies; federal recreation sites from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the USDA Forest Service, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Land Management and the National Park Service; boat ramps from federal navigation charts; and public shore on public lakes. Where no agency lists a spot, fishing spots and boat ramps mapped by OpenStreetMap contributors fill the gap. The whole public spot layer is a free download under the Open Database License. Conditions come from USGS stream gauges and National Weather Service forecasts, refreshed every hour. Taxpayers already paid for this data, so we don’t charge for it.
